Church
of the Good Shepherd offers worship services that appeal to a wide variety
of tastes and experiences. The Holy Eucharist is the foundation of every Sunday
service. And, every service includes music and a sermon. Even with these common
elements, each is distinctive. |
7:30
am Earlybirds choose this service for two reasons. Some enjoy getting up
early. Others cherish the traditional form of worship that dates back
to the first Book of Common Prayer published in 1549. A cantor leads
congregational singing. Following the service, coffee is served in the
Parish Hall.

9:00
am People of all ages enjoy this service. The worship language is contemporary.
The music is traditional. The Good Shepherd Choir offers special music
and supports congregational singing. Children are welcome in chapel
or in church. Two chapel services are offered; one for children ages
3 to 6, the other for children 6+ to 12. Children who attend chapel
join their parents in church in time for Holy Communion. A well-staffed
nursery is available for infants and toddlers.

11:05
am Good Shepherd gets amplified at 11:05. ShepherdSong,
the Good Shepherd praise band, leads the music for this lively service.
Originally begun with our teenagers in mind, this service attracts people
of all ages, including many senior citizens. Chapel services are offered
for children ages 3 to 12 and nursery care is available for infants
and toddlers. A coffee hour follows the service. |
