Our Mission Our mission is to offer a high quality Christian-based education, which will provide developmental, intellectual, and spiritual guidance to children, grant need-based scholarships to one in four students, and will provide families an atmosphere of trust and Christian love. Our Philosophy We believe: • That each child is created by God and is a unique individual to be treated with dignity and respect. • That each child has an eagerness to learn according to his or her own individual pattern and timing of growth. Good Shepherd Montessori Programs Families have their choice between two developmentally appropriate environments where children have the opportunity to explore the spiritual, academic, emotional, social and physical realities of life and community. Good Shepherd Montessori Preschool/Kindergarten Ages 2 ½ - 6, five days per week Full-day, half-day and before/after care Washington State Licensed Day Care In addition to the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd religious education program, children will be guided through a full complement of Montessori materials and curriculum. After three years in this rich environment a child is prepared for first grade and fuller participation in a faith-filled community. A minimum two-year commitment is required.
