“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat..”  As we approach the holiday season and begin to think of others who are less fortunate, may we all give thanks and be grateful for the abundance we are able to enjoy and share.  This year the family at Good Shepherd has an opportunity to help 45 families who would otherwise not enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.  Beginning October 29 there will be information in the Parish Hall regarding the food supplies needed for Thanksgiving Baskets.  There will be cut outs with labels indicating the food items needed for the baskets.  You may make a donation in three different ways; you may purchase the items indicated on the cut outs, you may make a monetary donation or you may purchase gift cards at one of the local markets.  Gift cards and monetary donations may be left for Barbara LeRoy  in the Outreach mailbox in the church office.  Please take as many hands as you would like.  The items listed on each hand will cost less than $10.00.  Please return the items to the Parish Hall by November 17.  Your generosity will allow others to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.

If your family is in need of a Thanksgiving Basket, please contact Fr. Tom or Barbara in the church office 892-1387.
