Each Sunday between 10:00 and 11:00am in the Parish Hall, we enjoy a time of discussion, questioning teaching and learning. This is one of the best ways to get to know people at Good Shepherd, and have a good time doing it! To equip the saints for the work of ministry. Everything Christians do with their life is ministry. This class offers practical support for living a faithful life. Sunday school classes focus on addressing contemporary opportunities and issues from a Christian perspective. A variety of teachers, including guests from outside the congregation, lead the discussions. Advent Sunday Forum: Every year we begin focus on a new Gospel which we will read and hear most Sundays until next Advent. We have been following Matthew this past year (Year A); now we will often be reading the Gospel of Mark (Year B). These next four Sundays at the Adult Forum at 10:00 in the Parish Hall, Mary Sicilia will lead us in a presentation-discussion class, I’ve Got a Secret: An Introduction to the Gospel of Mark, providing background and discussion of the overall gospel and exploring some of its key passages. Watch for announcements about Sunday2, a new second Adult Ed option on Sunday mornings!
Please join us for and afternoon of Christmas drama and music. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Opportunities are available for Children, Youth, and Adults to Perform in the Family Christmas Program. We are looking for folks interested in playing a musical instrument, singing, reading poetry, or being our Master of Ceremonies. Please fill out a form in the church entryway.
