The Winter Hospitality Overflow program has begun, so mark your calendars for Good Shepherd’s week Mar. 1 thru Mar. 8, 2015. Watch for further announcements later this year about opportunities to volunteer at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church during March. To help raise funds to support the WHO program, we are selling tickets for a pancake, egg & sausage breakfast.
Type Casts – Toward Better Communication at Home and Abroad Using the Myers-Briggs Personality Indicator as a starting point, she will help us look at ways to improve our communication with partners, children, parents, family, and friends and take a look at the spirituality of personality in the process! Bring a bag lunch – beverages will be provided. The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required and enrollment is limited because of space. Please pre-register in the entryway through October 19th. Saturday Specials are the result of last spring’s Adult Formation Survey in which members Good Shepherd indicated they would like to see workshops, Quiet Days, extended classes and retreats offered on Saturdays. This will be the first of five Saturday Specials we will offer this year – we hope you’ll take advantage of them!
Various schools and organizations let us know of Thanksgiving food needs in their community. Good Shepherd works to meet those needs so that more families in our community can experience peace and joy during the holiday.
